Partner Terms of Use

These Partner Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Remotr platform (“Platform”) as a location partner, provider, or business offering accommodations, coworking spaces, colivings, or other services (“Partner”, “you”). By listing your business or location on Remotr and accepting reservations, you agree to these Terms.

1. ROLE OF REMOTR

Remotr is a marketplace platform that connects remote workers and digital nomads with local providers offering services or accommodations.

• Remotr does not act as a reseller or agent.
• Remotr does not collect full payments on your behalf. We only collect a reservation fee from the user, which is a percentage of the total cost and serves as our platform fee.
• You are solely responsible for collecting any remaining balance directly from the user through your own preferred methods.

2. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Partner, you agree to:

• Honor all confirmed reservations made through Remotr.
• Clearly communicate your total price, offering details, and policies (e.g., refund, check-in rules).
• Deliver the service or experience as advertised on your Remotr listing.
• Maintain updated and accurate business information, availability, and contact details.
• Comply with all local laws and regulations applicable to your business (e.g., tourism licenses, tax laws, health and safety standards).

3. PAYMENTS & FEES

• Remotr only collects a reservation fee from users at the time of booking. This fee is non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in advance.
• You are responsible for arranging and collecting the remaining payment from the user directly.
• Remotr does not charge you (the Partner) any upfront fees or commission at this time.

4. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

1. Reservation Response Time
   Partners must accept or decline each reservation request within 24 hours of receipt. Failure to respond within this timeframe will result in automatic acceptance of the reservation by Remotr on behalf of the partner.
2. Cancellation Liability
   If a partner cancels a reservation after accepting it (either manually or via automatic acceptance), the partner is liable for the reservation fee paid by the user. This fee will be retained by Remotr as compensation for platform and administrative costs incurred.
3. Communication Obligations
   Partners agree to communicate promptly and transparently with users regarding any issues affecting the reservation and to manage cancellations responsibly to maintain a trustworthy service environment.

You must:

• Clearly state your cancellation and refund policy in your Remotr listing.
• Inform Remotr and the user immediately if a reservation cannot be honored.
• Provide refunds directly to the user according to your stated policy, if applicable.
• Understand that Remotr’s reservation fee is typically non-refundable, even if the user cancels, unless cancellation is due to your failure to deliver.

5. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMERS

• You acknowledge that you are acting as an independent business. Remotr is not liable for any issues arising from your service, including disputes, property damage, safety concerns, or user dissatisfaction.
• You must hold any necessary insurance for your business or premises.

6. SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION

Remotr may suspend or terminate your participation as a Partner at any time if:

• You breach these Terms.
• You fail to deliver on confirmed reservations.
• We receive multiple complaints or reports of misconduct.

7. LEGAL COMPLIANCE

You confirm that:

• You operate a legitimate business with any required permits, registrations, or licenses.
• You will only use the platform for lawful purposes and in a professional manner.

8. MODIFICATIONS

Remotr reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of major changes via email or in-platform message. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance.

By continuing to list your services on Remotr, you confirm you have read and agreed to these Partner Terms of Use.
