Creating a pre-join survey

If you want to collect information about your members, before they are going to join your community. You can add a pre-join survey. Use the following steps to create one:

1. Go to 'settings' in the bottom left corner of the community page
2. Navigate to 'Onboarding' and click Pre-join survey
3. Add a question by typing in the 'question bar' and select the answer type
4. Add the question to the survey by clicking the green 'add question' button

Important Notes

• Once you've added the questions to the pre-join survey, it is automatically added to the community
• Setting up a pre-join survey does not mean that members need to be approved. You can decide if members get direct access or if they need to be approved by a community host
